Statement from Trustees regarding the Charity Caravan
After 10 years of providing holidays to families affected by childhood cancers in our caravan, we have taken the difficult decision to close and sell it.
Over the past 3 years, we have been working very hard on our Smile Bag project.
This is going from strength to strength and our aim is to extend and roll out this project to help even more children and families across the UK. We want to focus our time and resources on increasing the number of children we help with our Smile Bags.
Although the caravan was hugely popular with families, the effects of closure during Covid followed by significant increases in costs has unfortunately made keeping it unsustainable for the charity, especially with our plans to expand our other work and plans.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years with this project.
