Herbert Parkinson

A couple of weeks ago, Herbert Parkinson invited us to their open evening celebrating their 70 years of partnership with John Lewis. At their event they had a tombola, food stall and even sold some of their old stock off as well with other independent stalls too.

Yesterday they invited me back to have a tour around their factory before surprising me with a cheque for an amazing £1781.40, I was so shocked and overwhelmed by the amount and that they chose Maddi’s Butterflies to donate to.

A huge thank you to Liannne, Julie and all the staff at Herbert Parkinson for their generosity and choosing our charity. All the funds will go towards creating smiles for children with cancer by providing them with a Smile Bag which have been referred to us via Young Lives V’s Cancer.
