Creating SMILES everyday for children with cancer.
“A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam. And for a brief moment its glory and beauty belong to our world. But then it flies on again, and though we wish it could have stayed, we feel so lucky to have seen it.”
Welcome to Maddi’s Butterflies. Helping children with Neuroblastoma and Rare Cancers.
Creating Smiles and Making Memories Everyday for Children Living with Cancer. Maddi’s Butterflies was set up in memory of Madison Allan aged 7 who passed away on Boxing Day 2011 from Neuroblastoma.
Despite Maddi having cancer all her life, she was a very happy outgoing little girl who was always smiling and forever dancing, nothing pleased her more than to see people happy and having fun!
Knowing first-hand how this terrible disease can affect not only the child, but also extended family members and in honour of our precious Daughter’s bold and valiant fight, we decided to set up a Charity to help raise awareness and money to assist Families with Children who have also been diagnosed with Neuroblastoma and other rare forms of cancer.
Our aim is to supply Bespoke Smile Bags to children suffering from Neuroblastoma and other Rare Cancers. Quite simply our main focus is to try and put a smile back on their faces.
